Steve Jagielka says AFC Telford must cure their poor away form and clinch promotion from the Blue Square North.
"You've got to have the desire to win, and I'm certainly not going to let the season implode on us," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"We've got to go to Gainsborough and get a result, and prove to ourselves we're capable of mixing it."
The players were lambasted by boss Rob Smith after the last defeat at Farsley - a "whimpering performance", he said.
That result saw Telford hanging on to fourth place in the league, four points clear of those outside the play-off zone.

But there are several clubs waiting for Telford to slip up again on the road, where they have lost seven league games this season.
"Football's half about a winning mentality and a strength mentality - it's not just about passing the ball and kicking it," Jagielka added.
"We've got to kick on against Gainsborough, and take each game now and win at all costs. It doesn't have to be pretty - we've just got to win."
