Telford's Liam Blakeman celebrates his winner at Gainsborough
Carl Rodgers and Liam Blakeman were on target as AFC Telford cemented their place in the Blue Square North play-off zone with victory at Gainsborough.
The Bucks led at the interval through Rodgers' first-half strike.
Simon Bird levelled for the home side 20 minutes from time, slotting home the rebound after Telford keeper Ryan Young saved Lewis McMahon's penalty.
But Blakeman pounced with 12 minutes to go to seal the points and help Telford close the gap on Southport in third.
Southport were beaten 2-0 at fellow play-off challengers Alfreton.
Telford manager Rob Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire: "The lads have knuckled down and produced a win so I'm pleased. We needed a kick up the backside (after the midweek defeat at Farsley)."
Meanwhile Gainsborough manager Steve Charles told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "That's four times we've played them this season, and four times we've come close but again it's the same result.
"They're probably a little more professional on the pitch. We've got the skill and the ability but some of our decision-making at times is not good enough."
