Stuart Whitehead says Telford must bounce back (James Baylis)
Telford captain Stuart Whitehead says the Bucks need to go back to basics to keep their push for promotion alive at Blyth Spartans on Tuesday night.
The Bucks have picked up just one point in their last two league games and Whitehead knows they need a win.
"We've let ourselves down in the last couple of weeks in terms of results," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"We've got to pick up points from somewhere and start playing better than we are."
Telford have slipped to fourth in the Blue Square North, leaving them 11 points behind table-topping Gateshead, but still with four games in hand on the leaders.
But, on the back of those two league games without a win, the Bucks also travel to Blyth on the back of Saturday's disappointing 2-0 defeat against York City in the first leg of their FA Trophy semi-final. And Whitehead said they need to forget that defeat.
"We've got to go on an unbelievable run," said Whitehead. "We can lose probably only one of our remaining fixtures. That's the task facing us."
Telford will have Mark Danks available again after being cup-tied on Saturday. But, on top of suspended Terry Fearns' absence, fellow strikers Danny Carey Bertram (hamstring) and Andy Brown (foot) are both expected to miss out.
The Bucks have been looking to make a new frontline signing this week but it looks unlikely it will happen before the Blyth match.
