Telford's Mark Danks sees his header go wide against Vauxhall Motors
AFC Telford United manager Rob Smith believes the Bucks' chances of winning the Blue Square North title have gone after losing 2-0 at Vauxhall Motors.
Rob Smith's side conceded twice in the first six minutes because of lax defending to drop to 11 points off top.
Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire: "This is the game we had to win to stay in the league title and we've blown it.
"It was shocking. We've got no passion, commitment or fight in that dressing room. They didn't represent me."
Telford slipped to fourth place in the table, 11 points behind leaders Gatehead, but still with three games in hand.
A 3-0 victory for Southport at Harrogate compounded Smith's problems. And now, although Telford enjoy a six-point cushion over sixth-placed Alfreton, the Bucks boss even fears that they will not make the play-offs.
"You find out a lot about your players when you're not doing well," he added. "We've got a job staying in the play-offs now."
Strikers Danny Carey-Bertram and Andy Brown are now both injury concerns ahead of Saturday's FA Trophy semi-final first leg against York City at the New Bucks Head.
Joint top scorer Carey-Bertram limped off early on Tuesday night with a hamstring injury.
