Boston United's top scorer Ollie Ryan could return from an ankle injury to face Matlock in the Unibond Premier Division on Saturday.
Ryan, who has scored 22 goals this season, missed the Pilgrims' 0-0 draw at Cammell Laird on Tuesday.
But it is hoped the 23-year-old will be fit to face their relegation rivals at York Street.
"Ollie has a chance, depending on how he responds to treatment," manager Steve Welsh told the club's website.
Meanwhile defender Wes Parker will miss the Matlock game with a thigh strain.
Boston's point at Cammell Laird moved them out of the relegation zone.
The Matlock game will be followed by a trip to another team in the relegation zone, Leigh Genesis, on Tuesday.
