Steve Welsh felt his side deserved at least a point against Witton Albion
Boston United remain in the Unibond Premier Division's bottom four after a 0-0 draw with fellow strugglers Witton Albion at York Street on Saturday.
The Pilgrims were unable to capitalise on their dominance in most of the game, while Kieran Lugsden and Neil Black had the visitors' best efforts.
Manager Steve Welsh told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "Earlier in the season we could have thrown that game away.
"We got a point and a clean sheet, not ideal but it's better than nothing."
Midfielder Ben Sedgemore, making his debut for Boston, said: "We're disappointed we didn't get the three points because we felt we deserved to win.
"But there's a good spirit in the camp and we need to translate that into points now."
In the Unibond First Division South Stamford's goalless draw at home to Kidsgrove Athletic extended the Daniels' unbeaten league run to 19 matches, 11 of which have ended in draws.
Sean Cann's first-half strike proved decisive as Lincoln United beat Loughborough Dynamo 1-0 while Spalding United were hammered 7-0 at Sheffield FC.
Grantham Town conceded a 92nd-minute goal at Shepshed Dynamo, only for Lee Beeson to level a minute later as the game ended 1-1.
