Joe Francis put King's Lynn 2-0 up against Harrogate
King's Lynn let a 2-0 lead slip to finish losing 3-2 to Harrogate Town at The Walks in the Blue Square North.
Second-half goals from Michael Frew and Joe Francis appeared to give The Linnets control of the game with 66 minutes played.
But James Dean and Nathan Peat pulled the Yorkshire side level before Dean was sent off.
The 10 men won the game with a late strike from Richard Marshall to boost their play-off hopes.
The result also ended King's Lynn's three match unbeaten run and manager Keith Webb was furious with his side's defending in the latter stages of the game.
"We lost because as a team we didn't defend enough in certain areas, it's as simple as that," Webb told BBC Radio Norfolk.
"Players have got to cut out the errors, in the last three games they haven't made mistakes, tonight they did and Harrogate have punished us."
The Linnets drop a place to 12th in the table after the defeat which was played in front of a disappointing crowd of just 656.
