Harrogate Town have taken all their players off the transfer list.
The club made the whole squad available two weeks ago and they have since lost goalkeeper Jim Provett to Gateshead and striker Danny Holland to Eastwood Town.
General manager Alan Williams told BBC Radio York: "The directors have sorted it out and we can now focus on Tuesday's game against Burscough."
The club have emphasised that they were not in financial trouble but simply securing the club's long-term future.
Town go into the Burscough game in seventh place in Blue Square North, having slipped out of the play-off zone over the last few weeks.
The club have not given specific details to explain the transfer U-turn but the departure of Provett and Holland reduces the wage bill while Eastwood have paid an undisclosed fee for the latter, and it seems the board have now re-budgeted following those changes.
It is a worry if we were to get any more injuries... but the rumours are not true that I'm going to put my boots back on, there's definitely no chance of that
Harrogate Town's 43-year-old manager Neil Aspin
The play-offs are still possible and, while Town's weekend game against Solihull Moors was postponed, a few of Saturday's results went in their favour.
In the meantime, manager Neil Aspin has had further problems as Harrogate suffered heavy snowfalls.
"The players are fed up because they've had to train in the snow on the Stray and they've had to do a lot of running around Harrogate on the roads and the paths," he said.
As for the departed players, Provett was "a massive loss," while Holland had been at the club since Aspin took over.
"He scored 100 goals for the club and it was a sad day for me when he left," Aspin, 43, said.
"I still feel we can put out a team that's competitive.
"It is a worry if we were to get any more injuries... but the rumours are not true that I'm going to put my boots back on, there's definitely no chance of that."
