King's Lynn battled out an uninspiring goalless draw with Burscough at The Walks in a game that was anything but a pre-Christmas cracker.

Lynn mustered just one meaningful shot on goal when Ben Sedgemore came close in the first half.

Lynn manager Keith Webb was not helped by the fact that Mark Camm and Adam Smith missed the game with a bug.

Burscough were often lively and Lynn had to work hard to repel their attacks, which were more promising.
