Norwich City have extended Ryan Bertrand's loan from Chelsea until the end of the season.
The left-back was due to return to the Premier League side in the new year but they have agreed to let him stay.
Bertrand has started all but four of The Canaries league matches this season and he told BBC Radio Norfolk he was pleased to have his future decided:
"Chelsea wanted me to go back but I wasn't sure that I would be playing more regularly than not."

Another one of The Canaries loan defenders, John Kennedy, looks unlikely to return.
The centre-back is receiving treatment at Celtic on a knee problem suffered in his last game for Norwich.
The Glasgow club are expected to carefully nurse the player, who has a history of serious knee injuries, back to fitness.
Kennedy is unlikely to play again until March, making a return to The Canaries impractical.
