Defender Jose Fonte struck twice in the first half to help Crystal Palace on their way to victory against Norwich.
Fonte opened the scoring when he headed in firmly past keeper David Marshall from Patrick McCarthy's free-kick.
The visitors drew level when Gary Doherty nodded from David Bell's pass but Fonte scored again on the half hour when he shot powerfully in.
Danny Butterfield made all three points safe for the home side with a right-footed volley from 18 yards late on.
Crystal Palace midfielder Nick Carle told BBC London 94.9:
"It's always easier around the club when we're winning games.
"We know we had a slow start but if we can keep our heads down, keep putting working as hard as we have been, come end of the season we could be up there.
"You have to put the hard work in to keep the run going."
Norwich City manager Glenn Roeder told BBC Radio Norfolk:
"I haven't got a problem if we concede a goal and there's nothing we could have done about it, but we didn't deal with the first ball for their first goal, and they scored off the second phase.
"Doc, who I thought was outstanding today, got in at the back post for 1-1, and at that stage I thought we'd go on and win the game.
"The third goal just rubbed salt in the wounds because they've beaten us twice now and I find it quite hard to believe how they've done that, other than what we've done to ourselves."
