King's Lynn produced a much-improved second half performance to earn a point from their long trip to Workington.
The home side took the lead after 19 minutes, in-form striker Johnny Wright heading home the opener.
Lynn manager Keith Webb made changes after the break and on 70 minutes Jack Defty glanced home Joe Francis' corner.
Webb told BBC Radio Norfolk: "I've had to go in at half time a little louder than normal and second half we came out with a more positive attitude."
