Ken Rea (left) and Gary Whild want fans to help the club move forward
Redditch United's three-man board of directors has dismissed rumours the club is to go into administration.
Speaking to BBC Hereford & Worcester after a fans forum, director of football Gary Whild said it was important the issue was clarified.
"There's been a lot of talk in the media and it was a chance for the supporters to come and air their views.
"It's their football club so let's hope a few issues have been finished and we can now move on."
But Whild did admit it is becoming increasingly tough to provide Blue Square North football when the club is attracting gates of fewer than 200 at home matches.
The board have also confirmed they are yet to receive any money from their main sponsors, the Thailand-based sportswear company Kool Sport, but they hope it will be resolved in the coming weeks.
At the meeting Whild said there were no imminent plans for any merger with Bromsgrove Rovers and hoped that the board and supporters would now be able to work together to take the club forward.
"I feel that I am approachable and I've always given time to those who support the club," he said.
"Let's hope that there are a few things that have now been put to bed and we can now move on and do what's best for the football club."
The club's former press officer Andy Mitchell was among those at the forum and, while he felt there had been some progress, he believes that there is still some way to go.
"I'm not sure that everybody got everything off their chest, I have got to be honest," he said "I am not sure all of the issues have been resolved.
"I'm not sure that all the negative feeling has gone away but I hope I am wrong."
Further meetings are planned between the board of directors and fans groups, including a Supporters Trust that Reds fans are in the process of setting up.
