Salisbury slipped further down the table after two own goals gifted Kidderminster Harriers victory.
Salisbury's Jonathan Bass directed Martin Brittain's cross into his own net to give the Harrriers the lead.
Matthew Barnes-Homer doubled the advantage before Charlie Griffin's header gave the visitors hope.
But Scott Bartlett directed Brian Smikle's cross into his own net and Brian Dutton's 20-yard strike proved to be a mere consolation goal.
Harriers manager Mark Yates told BBC Hereford and Worcester:
"The second half was not what we wanted. We got sucked in a bit and let them dominate.
"Justin Richards has made a couple of decisions that he doesn't normally make.
"The game should have been over at half-time as we should have been five or six up and I had no sympathy for them. I want my teams to be ruthless."
