AFC Telford United defender Lee Vaughan has said he wants to have talks with boss Rob Smith after failing to secure a regular first-team place.
"I need to be playing football week-in week-out, so the gaffer and I need to have a serious talk about this," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"I will bide my time, be patient, and hopefully give Rob Smith something to think about.
"I'm 22 and I need to play regularly, so we'll have to see what happens."
The popular defender missed the start of this season due to suspension and has since regularly found himself used as a substitute.
But he impressed in the Setanta Shield victory over Gainsborough and manager Smith added: "That certainly helped put Lee back in the reckoning."
