Merritt guided City to promotion last season

Oxford City manager Justin Merritt says fresh faces are now needed at Court Place Farm after a disappointing start to the season in the Southern League.

City have won one game in six so far this campaign, and Merritt told BBC Oxford it is time for him to strengthen his squad.

"Much as I am desperate for everyone to do well, there comes a time when you need to do something," he said.

"We need extra bodies to freshen it up and it's about getting the right ones."
