Oxford United striker James Constable is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a groin strain in the 1-1 draw against Kettering.
And the former Kidderminster man, on loan from Shrewsbury, is set to miss a return to Aggborough next Saturday.
Oxford boss Darren Patterson told BBC Oxford: "It looks like he'll be out for a while.
"Everything and anything is going wrong at the minute. We'll just keep coping and getting on with things."
Constable is likely to be out for between two and three weeks after picking an abductor strain.
