Organisers of this weekend's Blenheim International Horse Trials have denied rumours that this year's event faces cancellation because of bad weather. They say fears that the grounds of Blenheim Palace will be too wet to stage the event are unfounded. Event director Mandy Hervieu said: "We are very lucky with the ground at Blenheim, it drains very well. "We have been managing the site carefully and keeping cars off the major walkways." Hervieu says there will be a chance to see some of the world's top riders in action. Hervieu said: "The course is absolutely fabulous and the riders are going to the most marvellous time around it."
