Bradley Smith equalled his best ever finish at Misano

Bradley Smith has said he is confident ahead of his next race, in Indianapolis, after finishing second in the 125cc Grand Prix at Misano.

The Oxfordshire teenager was only beaten to his maiden win in San Marino by world champion Gabor Talmasci.

"Years ago when I was motocrossing I dreamed about racing in America and this weekend I race at the home of the Indy 500," said Smith.

"It should be fantastic, the result at Misano has given me real confidence."
