Paul Peschisolido has been spoken to by Worcester City

Worcester City manager Richard Dryden has been in talks with former Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion striker Paul Peschisolido.

Peschisolido says he has spoken to Dryden, but as yet has not given that much thought to the move.

The Canadian international striker, 37 last week, played with Dryden at St Andrew's when he first joined Blues in November 1992.

He is without a club after his release by relegated League One side Luton.

"Richard asked me what my plans were and if I was interested in joining Worcester," Peschisolido told the Worcester News. "I said I would think about it and that's as far as we've got.

"He's a friend of mine and that's pretty much it.

"Is it something I would consider? I haven't given it any thought yet.

"I said to Richard that when I make a decision, he will be the first to know."

Since leaving Toronto Blizzards for St Andrew's in November 1992, Peschisolido, the husband of Blues managing director Karren Brady, has played for nine English league clubs.

As well as his two spells at Blues and his 15 months at Albion, he has also had spells at Stoke City, Fulham, QPR, Sheffield United (twice), Norwich City, Derby County and, most recently, last season at Luton, for whom he started just two games.
