Fleetwood beat off the interest of a number of clubs to sign Warlow
Fleetwood have signed striker Adam Warlow from Unibond League side Witton.
The 21-year-old, who was his league's top scorer last season with 30 goals, joins as the club prepare for their first season in Blue Square North.
Fleetwood chairman Andy Pilley said: "Adam is a major signing and it is another clear indication of how seriously we will approach next season.
"He is a prolific goalscorer and this was clearly proved last season with five hat-tricks."
The Southport-born player signed professionally with Crewe Alexandra in 2006 following a three-year scholarship with the Railwaymen.
He joined Witton in 2007 after a successful season-long loan period with the Cheshire club.
Adam didn't need too much time to realise his personal ambitions would be matched by the plans at Highbury

"He's a highly thought of young man and he had a good upbringing with Crewe," said manager Tony Greenwood.
"The squad now has five or six players who will be competing for the places up front. He's a different type of forward who is able to hold up the ball and his link-up play with the midfield is impressive."
Pilley added: "I explained the forward direction Fleetwood are taking both on and off the field.
"Adam didn't need too much time to realise his personal ambitions would be matched by the plans at Highbury."
