Wroxham's pursuit of Ridgeons League Premier Division leaders Soham were hit by a 2-1 defeat at home to Haverhill.

Dereham Town kept up their pursuit of the leaders with a 3-1 win at Ipswich Wanderers to keep them sixth.

Swaffham Town drew 1-1 at Leiston, Norwich United also drew, 2-2 at Woodbridge, but King's Lynn Reserves lost out 2-1 at Needham Market.

In the First Division, Diss leap-frogged Gorleston into fourth with a 4-1 win away to FC Clacton.

Gorleston dropped to fifth after a 3-1 defeat at Ely City, while Thetford Town lost 2-0 at home to Halstead.

The big defeats of the day were suffered by Downham Town and Fakenham Town.

Downham went down 6-0 at Debenham LC, while Fakenham, who last week lifted themselves off the bottom of the table for the first time all season, lost 7-1 away to Whitton United.
