Baha scored a penalty to help Malaga thump Espanyol 4-0 while Uche gave Almeria an early lead but the game with Atletico Madrid finished 1-1. Both sides ended the game with 10 men.

Ghanaian defender Emmanuel Boakye scored the equaliser for Heracles Almelo 10 minutes from time to earn his side a point in a 2-2 draw at Den Haag.
Moroccan striker Youssef El Akchaoui was on target for NEC Nijmegen but his 67th minute effort was ultimately in vain as his side still lost 4-2 to Ajax Amsterdam.
BELGIUM
All three goals in the game between Lokeren and Zulte-Waregem were scored by Africans Niger's Moussa Maazou and Senegalese striker Mbaye Leye.
Maazou now leads the scoring charts with 13 goals following his brace for Lokeren in their 2-1 win over Zulte. Leye, meanwhile, scored Zulte's consolation goal.
The DR Congo striker Dieudonne Mbokani is second top scorer with 12 goals after scoring for Standard Liege in their 3-2 win over Dender.
Standard Liege are second in the league table after 18 games, one one point behind the leaders Anderlecht.
Algerian Mohammed Fadel Brahami scored a penalty in the seventh minute to give Mons the lead at home but they succumbed to two goals, losing 2-1 to Gent.
Moroccan Mohcine Iajour scored from the penalty spot for Charleroi but Westerlo, reduced to 10 men, still won 2-1.
Germinal Beerschot continue to steer away from the relegation zone by beating Genk 4-1. Ghanaian Gyan King sealed the scoring in the final minute.
FRANCE
Just one goal in Ligue 1, scored by the Moroccan striker Marouane Chamakh. He headed into the net in the 70th minute for Bordeaux to beat Nantes 2-1.
ENGLAND
South African Benni McCarthy scored the opening goal for Blackburn Rovers from the penalty spot to send them on their way to a 3-0 win over 10-men Newcastle United.
Togo's Emmanuel Adebayor gave Arsenal the lead on the half hour at Hull City where they won 3-1. Gabonese striker Daniel Cousin had equalised in the 65th for Hull.
