African goals in Europe: 13-14 December

A round-up of all the weekend's African goalscorers in the major leagues around Europe.

SPAIN

Cameroon and Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o
Samuel Eto'o scored for Barcelona against Real Madrid

Cameroon's Samuel Eto'o had a penalty saved in Barcelona's game against arch rivals Real Madrid but then 13 minutes later he made amends by scoring the opening goal in a 2-0 win.

Eto'o remains the top scorer in the league with 15 goals and Barcelona now have an eight point lead at the top of the table.

Nigeria's Ikechukwu Uche scored Getafe's second goal in their comfortable 4-1 win over Mallorca.

Morocco striker Nabil Baha scored in the last minute to seal a 2-0 victory for Malaga over visiting Numancia.

ENGLAND

Nigeria striker Obafemi Martins scored his sixth goal of the season to help Newcastle United beat Portsmouth 3-0. The result lifted Newcastle out of the relegation zone up into 14th place.

Togo's Emmanuel Adebayor headed Arsenal into the lead but his side were held to a 1 all draw at Middlesbrough.

FRANCE

Benin's Stephane Sessegnon scored both goals for Paris Saint-Germain as they beat Auxerre 2-1.

Algerian midfielder Djamel Belmadi scored his first league goal of the season as his side Valenciennes beat Monaco 3-1.

His compatriot Yazid Mansouri also grabbed his first of the season as he got the opening goal for Lorient who won at Le Havre 3-1.

GERMANY

It was the final weekend of action before the winter break in the Bundesliga.

Nigeria's Manasseh Ishiaku scored a late winner for Cologne as they beat hosts Bochum.

Egypt's Mohamed Zidan opened the scoring for Borussia Dortmund as they edged past Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1.

Nigeria's Chinedu Ogbuke Obasi, Senegal's Demba Ba and Ghana's Isaac Vorsah all played for Hoffenheim as they drew 1 all with Schalke. Which was enough for the surprise team in the Bundesliga go top of the table at the half way stage of the league.

BELGIUM

Cameroon midfielder Justice Wamfor found the back of the net for struggling Germinal Beerschot who were beaten 2-1 by Malines. It was his first goal of the season.

Malines' Ghanaian midfielder Abdul-Yakuni Iddi was sent-off after a dangerous tackle with four minutes of the game remaining.

Senegalese striker Cheiko Kouyate also scored his first goal of the season as his side Kortrijk drew 1-1 at Gent.

Gambian Mustapha Jarju equalised for Mons in the 66th minute but they succumbed to the pressure of playing with 10 men, losing 2-1 in the end to Tubize.

Standard Liege outclassed Club Bruges 3-0 with the DR Congo striker Dieumerci Mbokani scoring the last goal in the 79th minute.

GREECE

Much-travelled Ivorian striker Ibrahim Bakayoko scored the only goal for Paok Saloniki as they beat Xanthi Skoda.

Senegalese striker Dame Ndoye equalised for OFI Crete close to half-time as they came from behind to beat Ergotelis 3-1.

TURKEY

Cameroonian striker Herve Tum scored a late winner for Sivasspor as they narrowly beat to give his side a 2-1 win over bottom side Hacettepe Spor.
