 Former Egypt international Hany Ramzy has retired from football |
Former Egypt captain Hany Ramzy is expected to join the coaching staff of German club Kaiserslautern. The 35-year-old defender has been hampered by a knee injury for much of the last two years and looks unlikely to make a full recovery.
Kaiserslautern officials said he will start a coaching course on Monday and will subsequently become a member of their youth coaching staff.
Ramzy joined Kaiserslautern in 1998 after four years at Werder Bremen and won 124 caps for the Egyptian national team.
