Former Egypt international Hany Ramzy
Former Egypt international Hany Ramzy has retired from football
Former Egypt captain Hany Ramzy is expected to join the coaching staff of German club Kaiserslautern.

The 35-year-old defender has been hampered by a knee injury for much of the last two years and looks unlikely to make a full recovery.

Kaiserslautern officials said he will start a coaching course on Monday and will subsequently become a member of their youth coaching staff.

Ramzy joined Kaiserslautern in 1998 after four years at Werder Bremen and won 124 caps for the Egyptian national team.
