Group One round-up
Togo's Junior Senaya
Junior Senaya scored twice as Togo beat Senegal 3-1
Senaya Junior scored two goals on Sunday as Togo humbled Senegal 3-1 in a World Cup qualifying match in Lome.

Adebayo Sheyi also scored for Togo while Bouba Diop managed to get one back for the Dakar Lions in the 85th minute.

Sheyi scored the first goal for Togo in the fourth minute, and Junior added two more in the 35th and 87th.

Togo erupted in celebrations after the victory over Senegal, which reached the quarterfinals at the 2002 World Cup finals.

Both Togo and Senegal now have three points in Group One, trailing leader Zambia by one point.

Congo moved into second place behind Zambia after an easy 3-0 win over Liberia in Brazzaville on Sunday.

Michel Claude Bouanga opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 52nd minute, followed by headers from Armel Mamouna in the 55th and Batota in the 65th.

Congo, with three points, trail Group One leaders Zambia by one. Liberia also has three points.

The Mali team
Mali drew 1-1 at home to Zambia in a 2006 World Cup qualifier

In Bamako, Frederic Kanoute rescued a point for Mali with a late goal on Saturday as the Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw by Zambia.

Kanoute's 80th minute goal gave Mali their first point of their Group One campaign but the result is a setback for the African Nations Cup semi-finalists, who lost their first group match to Liberia two weeks ago.

Mali fell behind to a 16th minute goal from Zambia's burly striker Harry Milanzi before Kanoute rescued the point.

Zambia also played the last five minutes with 10 men after the dismissal of Edwin Phirri after he recieved his second yellow card.

Saturday's World Cup qualifiers in Africa were dominated by some of the continent's lightweights, who recorded rare wins.

Botswana, the Cape Verde Islands and Rwanda won only their second World Cup qualifying games to register their first points of the campaign for a place in the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany.
