African goals in Europe: 13 - 14 Dec
Inter Milan's Obafemi Martins
Martins picked up his fourth goal of the season
Last week was a lean one for Africans in Europe but it was a much different story this weekend.

Italy

Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins scored his fourth goal of the season in Italy's Serie A when he gave his side Inter Milan the lead in the first-half as they went on to beat Bologna 2-0.

Spain

There were mixed blessings for Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto'o Fils in Spain's La Liga.

He equalised for Mallorca in the 33rd minute, only to miss a penalty 10 minutes inside the second-half that could have given them the lead against Malaga.

In the end Malaga won it 3-1. The 22-year-old has scored eight goals in the league this season.

Germany

Nigeria's Victor Agali picked up his third goal of the season in Germany. He sealed victory for Schalke five minutes from time as they beat Kaiserslautern 2-0.

France

Ivory Coast international Bonaventure Kalou scored his fifth of the season when he opened the scoring for Auxerre as they defeated Lens 2-0.

Francileudo da Silva Santos is a Brazilian but he will be one name we will be coming across as he scored his ninth goal of the season on the same day he got confirmation that he is eligible to play for Tunisia.

His goal helped Sochaux to a 2-0 victory over Ajaccio.

And Algeria's Abdelmalek Cherrad received his first red card of the season just before half-time as his side Nice drew 1-1 with Toulouse.

The Netherlands

Liberian John Collins was on target for his side FC Twente Enschede as they came out 4-2 winners over Feyenoord.

Moroccan Ali El Khattabi scored twice for AZ Alkmaar as they strolled to a 6-0 thumping of 10-man Volendam.

Belgium

One of Beveren's large Ivorian contingent, Mohamed Diallo gave his side three points when he scored just after the half hour in the lone goal victory over La Louviere.

Guinean defender Mohamed Cisse equalised for Antwerp but they ended up losing to Saint Truiden 2-1.

And Nigeria's Tosin Dosunmu fired an equaliser 10 minutes from time as his side Westerlo held Racing Genk to a 1-1 draw.

Portugal

FC Porto's Benni McCarthy
McCarthy scored for Porto but will miss the Nations Cup for South Africa
Angolan midfielder Mauro's ninth minute strike helped Belenenses to a 2-0 win over 10-man Alverca.

And the South African missing the Nations Cup Benni McCarthy scored late in the second-half to help FC Porto to a 3-0 win over Beira Mar.

Turkey

Nigeria's Rafael Chukwu scored for the second successive weekend but his side Rizespor lost 2-1 to Samsunspor.

And Guinean striker Ibrahim Yattara scored what turned out to be the winner for Trabzonspor who beat Galatasaray 2-1.
