Sianga'a could be on his way to Uganda
James Sianga'a, coach of Tanzanian Champions Simba FC, has agreed to join Ugandan giants Express FC.

Sianga'a, who has taken Simba to the Champions League group stages this season, met with officials from Express about the vacant manager's post.

Kavumah Kabenge, general secretary of Express FC, told the BBC Sport website that they have a verbal agreement with the Kenyan-born coach.

"We haven't put pen to paper yet but we have offered Mr Sianga'a the post and he has accepted in principle.

"The contract is set to be signed on 16 November," Kabenge said.

"We are keen to sign a foreign coach and we are confident that Sianga'a is the best we can afford with our limited resources.

"We are looking to him to build us a platform on the continental scene," Kabenge added.

Sianga'a's future at Simba has been uncertain since they put him on a month to month contract in March and have refused to offer him a long-term deal.

Express sacked their Danish coach Jan Fray earlier this month, despite leading the team to the Kakungulu Cup - Uganda's equivalent to the FA Cup.
