Thame United will mark the official opening of their new ground with a friendly against Oxford United.
Thame have been forced to play outside their home town and suffered relegation from the Southern League after lease problems at Windmill Road in 2005.
Chairman Jake Collinge told BBC Oxford: "It's a perfect opportunity to get the biggest club in Oxfordshire here."
Oxford say they will send a strong squad for the game at the ASM Stadium on 21 December (1930 GMT).
Thame , who have been forced to ground share at Chesham and then Wallingford, are hoping to play at least one Hellenic League match at their new home before Oxford visit.
"We are planning to play Hellenic League football in early December - though that depends on the weather for the growth of the pitch," Collinge added.
"To get into the new ground in December after five years hard work for all the volunteers would for me be the ultimate Christmas present."
