Ian Champion has stepped down as first team coach of Guernsey champions Belgrave Wanderers.
Champion had previously indicated he would leave, before confirming his departure on Monday.
A club statement said: "Bels wish to thank Ian for his time and efforts, culminating in the Division One Championship title.
"We are now seeking to continue to build and are hopeful of making an appointment in the very near future."
The statement added: "We are delighted that Ian has indicated a willingness to remain involved with the club."
The departing boss is said to have had a dispute with some of the Bels players over the staffing at a forthcoming boxing event at The Track.
Champion took up his role at the start of last season and led the side to the title in Guernsey's Senior County Division One.
