Truro City confirm Steve Thompson is leaving the club
Truro City has confirmed that Steve Thompson will no longer continue as manager of the club.
After just 18 games in charge, a club statement confirms: "it has been agreed by mutual consent Steve will no longer continue in his role."
The statement said: "The club would like to thank Steve for all of his efforts on behalf of Truro City and wishes him every success in the future.
Until a new appointment, Lee Hodges will be taking over first-team duties.
Thompson, who was the former boss of Yeovil Town, took over the Tigers from Sean McCarthy, who also left the club by mutual consent at the beginning of December.
City lost 2-0 to Nuneaton on Saturday at Treyew Road in the Premier Division of the Zamaretto Southern League.
