Rushen United completed a league double over title rivals Peel at Douglas Road to extend their advantage to seven points on Saturday.
Two goals from Jack Saxon and a Josh Kelly strike gave Rushen a 3-0 lead before Chris Cain's late consolation.
The Southerners day got even better when second placed St Mary's could only manage a 1-1 draw with Laxey.
Stephen Glover gave St Mary's a first-half lead at the Bowl before Max Murley equalised late on for Laxey.
Meanwhile, Michael came from behind to secure a 2-2 draw at Gymnasium and Corinthians picked up a point against Old Boys.
