DHSOB and Michael reach last four

Football

Douglas High School Old Boys and Michael United both came through tricky quarter-final ties on Saturday to reach the last four of the Cu Plas FA Cup.

A second-half goal from Old Boys' Craig Stewart was enough to earn the Premiership high-flyers a 1-0 win at Ramsey's Ballacloan Stadium.

Meanwhile a Jamie Moffit hat-trick helped Michael United to a comfortable 5-1 win against Ayre at Balleira Road.

Chris Hancox and player-manager Nick Hurt were also on target for United.
