Scottish and St Paul's both win

Second-placed Jersey Scottish beat Grouville 1-0 at Le Boulivot on Saturday to go two points behind leaders Trinity in the Premiership.

Third-placed St Paul's also closed the gap on Trinity after a comprehensive 5-0 win at St Peter.

Rozel Rovers moved out of the drop zone on goal difference after beating Sporting Academics 5-3 at Le Couvent.

Accies are now bottom after Jersey Wanderers beat St Ouen 2-0 to move up to second-from-bottom.

Island striker Ross Crick scored for the third consecutive match since returning from injury to seal Scottish's win. He has now scored nine goals in the last three games.

Craig Russell scored twice for St Paul's while JP Martyn, James Querree and Mark Lucas each got one for the champions in their win.

Ian Crocker, James O'Haire, Steve Coutanche, Matt Westwood and an own goal were on target for Rozel Rovers as they moved clear while Wanderers win was down to goals from Chris Andrews and a Luke Campbell penalty.
