Jersey Premiership leaders Trinity edged past lowly Rozel Rovers 1-0 to stay five points clear at the top.

Island striker John Beatson's goal was enough for Trinity to beat second-from-bottom Rovers at the Riley Field.

Second-placed Jersey Scottish had a much easier time, beating bottom-of-the-table Jersey Wanderers 6-1.
