Premiership leaders Peel beat Division Two front runners Castletown 2-0 at Douglas Road on Saturday to progress to the first round of the IOM FA Cup.

Kerron Christian gave the Westerners an early lead before Juan Killip sealed the win on the stroke of half-time direct from a corner.

The tie was marred when Peel's John Kelly was dismissed for a rash challenge on Town's Ashley Sansbury.

Sansbury was left with a suspected broken leg and compound fracture.
