In-form Ramsey defeated Congleton 24-0 at a windswept Mooragh Park on Saturday to stay joint first in the South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Four.

Ramsey made a great start with skipper Tynan Pritchard crossing the Congleton line early on before Nick McCudden and Stu McConnell extended there advantage.

Fintan Cummins added a conversion to give Ramsey a 17-0 half-time lead.

In the second half Matt Livesey completed the scoring, crashing over for a try, which Cummins converted.
