Tavistock moved up to fifth in the South West Peninsula League's Premier Division as they beat Newton Abbot Spurs 2-1 on Saturday.
The victory was one of just two games to survive the freezing weather which hit the region over the weekend.
Spurs took the lead when Richard Bentley scored after 32 minutes - their first goal in six games.
But Matt David equalised eight minutes into the second half before Mike Arscott grabbed an 89th-minute winner.
The only other match saw St Blazey come away with a point from Bodieve Park after drawing 0-0 with Wadebridge Town.
