JP Martyn scored a hat-trick in St Brelade's 6-0 thrashing of St John
St Brelade were easy 6-0 winners over St John in their re-arranged Trinity Shield semi-final on Saturday.
St Brelade completely controlled the match with four first-half goals.
Gary Freeman scored the first after just 80 seconds while JP Martyn collected a hat-trick.
The two were virtually unstoppable up front and with Jordan McBride and Jack McKenna providing great ball into the area, St John was lucky the score wasn't higher.
The second half was tighter, with the St John players staying closer, however it was more of the same with Gary Freeman scoring his second from a header and then James Queree finished off a good cross from JP Martyn to take the score to 6-0.
The final of the Trinity Shield is the Tuesday 7 January.
St Brelade will be looking to add to their 15 titles, the last six years ago in 2003.
Their opponents Grouville will be looking for their fifth shield and their first victory since 1929.
