St Saviour's Quintal runs at the St Brelade defence during his side's loss
St Brelade are through to the semi-finals of the Trinity Shield after Saturday's 3-2 win over St Saviour.
St Brelade took the lead early on when J-P Martyn latched on to Gary Freeman's header to slot home after five minutes.
Freeman made it 2-0 just before half time and Chris Maguire got a third with seven minutes to go.
But Saviour made a late comeback, Joel Speight scoring with two minutes to go and Darren Quintal getting a second in stoppage time.
It is the first time that St Brelade have beaten St Saviour for five-and-a-half-years - and also the first time St Saviour have failed to reach a final since that season.
St Saviour have always had a good squad and had an excellent squad today and they put up a great effort, so I'm well pleased
St Brelade manager Darren Mollett
"I nearly weed my pants when the two goals went in late on. But the boys held firm until the end," said St Brelade boss Darren Mollett, part of the last St Brelade side to beat St Saviour in 2003.
"It was a good performance today. I thought St Saviour put up a good show and it was a good game.
"St Saviour have always had a good squad and had an excellent squad today and they put up a great effort, so I'm well pleased," he added.
St Saviour boss Geoff Lironwas disappointed that his side did not go through.
"I thought we played very well," he said, "especially in the first half when I thought we were the better team.
"We didn't quite play as well in the second half."
