Truro City beat Bracknell Town 3-1 on Saturday to record their first win in four games in the Southern League Division One South and West.
Top scorer Stewart Yetton netted twice while Ian Stonebridge got the third as Truro moved up a place into third, just one point below the top.
Manager Sean McCarthy told BBC Radio Cornwall that it was good to get back to winning ways.
"We've just got to keep ticking away and pick up as many points as we can."
McCarthy added: "To me it's another game and it's another three points.
"You're not going to get promoted at Christmas and you're not going to get relegated either."
