Truro City dropped a place to fourth in the Southern League's Division One South and West on Tuesday night after going down 3-1 to Gosport Borough.
Andy Watkins had given City a great start as he opened the scoring after five minutes at Treyew Road.
But that is as good as it got for City as Gosport fought back with Josh Thomas equalising six minutes later.
Andy Puckett gave Borough the lead after 25 minutes before Justin Bennett sealed the win with seven minutes left.
