Truro City slipped from top spot in the Southern League's Division One South and West after drawing 2-2 with North Leigh at Treyew Road on Saturday.
Jake Ash gave City a 35th-minute lead but North Leigh equalised three minutes later through Liam Hope.
Andy Watkins restored the advantage for City just after the hour mark but Hope got his second 20 minutes later.
City now lie third, a point behind joint-leaders Didcot Town and Windsor and Eton.
"Second half we camped in their half, we got the goal and missed a couple of chances," City manager Sean McCarthy told BBC Radio Cornwall.
"But they carried on going for the full 90 minutes and they scored an equaliser with their third shot on target. That's the way football goes sometimes.
"I'm not too disappointed in the lads. It thought they were outstanding today and their effort and commitment was superb," he added.
