Guernsey football coach Tony Vance has named a list of 30 players he will consider for selection for the Island Games in Aland in summer 2009.
In his first duty since being appointed Vance selected his initial squad which will be whittled down to a final 20.
"I'm very pleased with the response from the players and the competition for places in the 20-man squad is very healthy," Vance told BBC Guernsey.
"It looks like we are going to be able to take a very strong squad."
