Guernsey's under-21s reclaimed the Malaya Cup thanks to Glyn Dyer's goal
Guernsey's under-21s beat the Royal Navy 1-0 to reclaim the Malaya Cup on Saturday.
Glyn Dyer scored the only goal of the annual clash between the two sides, but it could have been more were it not for some good defending from the visitors.
"It was totally dominated by us, we played the better football," coach Martyn de Garis told BBC Guernsey.
The game was de Garis' first in charge of the island side since taking over from Steve Ogier.
"We had some really good chances and their keeper played well and so did their two centre-backs," he added.
