Jersey will take on Alloa as they prepare to defend the Muratti
Jersey's footballers will take on Scottish side Alloa Athletic at Springfield in the build up for the Muratti with Guernsey.
Jersey manager Dave Kennedy says the chance to play different opposition is good for his side's preparation.
"You can only train so much and I think the players need a game and we need an opportunity to asses the players," he told BBC Radio Jersey.
"Close to the Muratti it's great to have this opportunity," he added.
Scotsman Kennedy, who is taking charge of his second inter-island clash at Springfield next month, says he is under no illusions how big the Muratti is for his players, and the island in general.
As a Scotsman I can appreciate the rivalry between our closest neighbours

"There's so much history between the two islands, not only in sport but in anything really.
"As a Scotsman I can appreciate the rivalry between our closest neighbours.
"It's a very passionate fixture and it's easy to see why the hype surrounding the fixture is so great."
Jersey host their big rivals on Bank Holiday Monday, and both islands have been using games against mainland opposition as part of their preparation.
Guernsey drew 2-2 with a British Universities side on Wednesday night.
