Stephen Carson looks likely to stay at Coleraine |
Coleraine manager Marty Quinn looks likely to retain the services of Stephen Carson for another season. The winger is set to continue his career at the Showgrounds, a welcome boost for the Bannsiders after the recent exodus of players from the club.
"Stephen did very well for us last season and I'm hopeful of retaining him," said Quinn.
Pat McAllister, Gerry Flynn, Jody Tolan and Sean Armstrong have all left Coleraine with Gary Haveron set to go.
Utility player Haveron is likely to join his former club Lisburn Distillery.
Quinn is confident that he can keep a number of other experienced players at the club.
Davy O'Hare and Stuart Clanachan are set to agree terms and Quinn also hopes to hold onto Stephen Beatty, Barry Johnston and Barry Curran.
South African Bryce Moon has also expressed a desire to remain at the club while Paul Gaston and Kyle McVey put pen to paper this week.
Meanwhile Glenavon have agreed terms with Bangor striker Marty Verner.
