Midfielder Paul Smith scored the winner as Barrow came from behind to beat Ebbsfleet United.
The hosts led when Liam Enver-Marum fired home from 30 yards out to find the bottom corner.
Adam Boyes drilled home a leveller and could have handed Barrow the lead but he fired over the bar.
Enver-Marum forced a fine save from Danny Hurst with an overhead kick before Smith fired home after good work from Louis Almond.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM:
Barrow joint-boss Dave Bayliss told BBC Radio Cumbria:
Win was great response - Barrow boss
"If we hadn't won it would have been really unlucky.
"The lads know they let themselves down on Monday (in defeat by Southport) but today we've shown what a good side we are.
"If we had been a bit more clinical in and around the penalty area we could have won by more but a win's a win and they're hard to come by at this level."
