Scotland will face Ireland in the final of the ICC World Cricket League Division One after a two-wicket win over Afghanistan in Rotterdam.

Both sides went into the match knowing the winners would reach the final and Scotland's bowlers took the initiative, dismissing the Afghans for 141.

Fraser Watts set the Scots batsmen on their way, top-scoring with 46.

However, a late collapse meant Scotland were left hanging on, stuttering home with six overs to spare.

Scotland's bowlers started the match well, with Gordon Goudie claiming the wickets of Karim Sadiq (2) and Javed Ahmadi (3) inside the first five overs.

Ross Lyons and Moneeb Iqbal then engineered the Afghan collapse, after a middle order stand, with figures of 3-21 and 2-35 respectively.

Watts and Neil McCullum opened well for the Scots and they had made 105 for three by the 32nd over.

However, McCullum was run out by Mohammad Shahzad before Watts followed him to the pavilion four runs short of his half-century, leaving the Scots tail-end facing a nervy finish.

But a Goudie single sealed the win for Scotland leaving Afghanistan rueing their side's 19 wides.
