Twenty20 loss hurts Croft
Robert Croft loses his wicket against Leicestershire
Glamorgan skipper Robert Croft was bitterly disappointed after their loss to eventual champions Leicestershire in the Twenty20 Cup semi-finals.

"I don't criticise my team publically, those sort of things will be left for inside the dressing room," Croft said.

"We didn't play to the standard we've been used to over the past few years, but full credit to Leicestershire.

"In patches we showed some of the cricket we're capable of, but we didn't put it together for long enough."

One silver lining was the Dragons' improved performance in the competition this season, winning five out of seven matches compared to one out of five last year.

"It's been a total turnaround," Croft added. "In fairness the club also had a good pay-day in the quarter-final at home - which is something you have to take into account these days."

Croft now has to lift his troops for Monday's National League One match away to Kent at Canterbury.

Glamorgan have a four-point lead at the top of the table with two games in hand over nearest challengers Lancashire, who also bowed out of the Twenty20 semi-finals after losing to Surrey.
